It feels as if we barely had a chance to embrace summer, before the Halloween parties, pumpkin soups and cosy jumpers are out. And as much as I personally try to cling onto my shorts and flip-flops, the chilly winds and changing colours are a sure sign that Autumn is here.

Autumn is a time of transition. Trees and shrubs are quietly shedding their leaves. There is a subtle browning of the earth. Temperatures are definetly dropping. Wildlife is more scare, either migrated or preparing for the cold winter. And the wind is slowly gathering strength, carrying the tides of winter on its breath.

Self Care

Autumn harbors a certain emptiness which can leave us feeling exposed and a little raw, but it is also filled with possibility as a time when we can also strip down to a quiet essence of being and embrace more simplicity in our lives.

Yoga helps us do that by allowing us to slow down. When we do a yin or restorative practice, we activate our rest and digest response and create the right conditi...

“Recognize that you have the courage within you to fulfill the purpose of your birth. Summon forth the power of your inner courage and live the life of your dreams.”– Gurumayi Chidvilasananda

Hello everyone

We are going to look at letting go, seeing things differently and being at ease. Yoga helps us to shed old ways of seeing things. I would like us to work on seeing our practice as an opportunity to let go of struggles, of striving, achieving, getting it right, having it all, balancing everything... as an opportunity to make room for a new way of seeing and a new way of being. Like the Spirit of Love felt everywhere;

I am really excited to have been asked to teach Yoga at the wonderful and newly opened Old Park Hall in Axminster. Not only it is a cool and cosy boutique B&B, but it also has a relaxed Yoga studio looking out onto the Devon countryside.

Check it out oldparkhall.co.uk

The first class will be Sweat, Stretch and Surrender on Sunday 20th March 10 - 12.

We will start with some breathing and mindfulness, move onto a dynamic and sweaty standing sequence, followed by a much slower and more restorative sitting practice, and end with a long savasana to enjoy the stillness of body and mind.
