(Slow Flow + Restorative Yoga - suitable for all, some core + strength involved)

(Dynamic + Restorative Yoga – suitable for beginners who are quite healthy and fit or anyone who has done Yoga before)

DESCRIPTION OF CLASSES:

 

WEEKLY Dynamic Glow Flow (if you are a beginner, get in touch before)

This is a faster paced class suitable for anyone who has done Yoga before or has a good level of fitness. We start with a dynamic standing sequence which is light and fun to build some heat, strength, balance and maybe a bit of sweat, to then go onto the mat for deeper stretches, core work and relaxation. We always intend to incorporate some breathwork and relaxation. Each time, we combine a familiar framework as a ritual that allows us to check in with ourselves and asses our health, strength and flexibility, with something new for some challenge and diversity.

Bliss Out Yoga – A Slow Restorative Flow by Candlelight 

This is a truly relaxing and nurturing practice. We start with Mindfulness of breath and slow movements to warm the body and ease us into a restorative practice when we hold postures for longer with the support of bolsters and blocks to release tension and stress and feel completely stretched, nourished and soft. We end with a nourishing relaxation to get ready for a restful sleep. This class is suitable for everyone including pregnant women and new mums.

Please bring a blanket and socks to keep you warm.

Easy Like A Sunday Morning: Yoga for a Healthy Back

A chilled out Sunday practice which combines movement and rest to harness a healthy back and posture by working on deep core integration. We start with Mindfulness of breath and a short standing gentle flow to warm the body, especially around the hips, shoulders and spine. We explore some often overlooked muscles which stabilise our centre, by doing plenty of strengthening and stretching in a relaxed and fun practice. Then we move onto the floor for a restorative practice to soothe and stretch muscles, and let go of tension in order to create a sense of ease in our bodies and calm in our minds, leaving us feeling taller and smiling. And ready to have a chilled out Sunday!

Please bring a blanket to both slide on and to keep you warm.

Sundays 9 am – 11 am pm £20

 

Sweat, Stretch and Surrender: Intense Dynamic Flow 

This is an energising and warming practice to put us in a happy mood and make us feel strong balanced and relaxed. We start with Mindfulness of breath and then delve right into a sweaty dynamic sequence to work on strength and balance. We then follow with a shorter seated sequence which instead focuses on stretching, opening and softening the body. And we finish with a short rest. At the end, you will feel that you have had a good full body workout as well as nourishing and relaxing practice.

Sundays or Saturdays 9 – 11 am £20

 

 

UPCOMING WORKSHOPS

 

NOURISHING DAY: Yoga, Mindfulness, Breathwork and Gut Health
A day of self-care with the intention of making time to nourish and heal yourself from within. Sunday TBC, 9.15 am – 2.30 pm £60
(All times are approximate).
9.15 – 10 am: we will start the day with a detoxing tea while reflecting upon our self- care challenges and setting intentions
10 – 11.30 am: we will do some breathwork, followed by a soothing Yoga flow practice with a focus on stretching, twisting and nurturing the core, hips and lower back to explore ways to improve your digestion and immune system, feel more energised, happier and healthier.
11.30 am – 1 pm: we will pause for a nourishing home made vegan meal with organic ingredients, and a probiotic and prebiotic theme. We will then make sauerkraut together as an opportunity to explore the importance of fermented food for gut health and vitality. You will then be able to take this home.
1 pm – 2 pm (ish): we will finish with a relaxing restorative practice when we hold postures for longer with the support of bolsters and blocks to release tension and stress and feel completely stretched, nourished and soft.
2 – 2.30 pm (ish): before saying goodbye, we will have a tea and a treat to wind down and reflect on the day and our intentions
Please let me know of any dietary needs (everything will be vegan)

Please also bring a large jar and a blanket.

 

PRIVATE YOGA

£50 per session at my studio in Lyme Regis,  plus travel cost if you would like me to come to you. 

 

YOGA at EVENTS (Hen Parties, Festivals, Retreats...)

£50-70 per hour depending on how many hours involved
